Microsoft Office Account Issue Warning

We are aware of an issue affecting installed Microsoft Office applications.  This is due to unexpected license changes and we are working towards a resolution.  

This issue is commonly noticed when launching Word or other Office applications and being presented with a dialog to sign in to Microsoft Office.  This issue onsets for everyone at seemingly random times.

We do not currently have an expected resolution date.

If you are unable to use the installed Office applications then we recommend the use of the Office 365 online suite while we are working to resolve the issue.

***Update***

5/14/2026 - The issue has been identified and all necessary steps have been taken to resolve this.  We are now waiting for Microsoft to process things on their end.  Unfortunately we still do not have an estimated restoration date.

5/19/2026 - We are actively working with Microsoft to finish up the license activation.  Unfortunately we still do not know when to expect a resolution.  Just as soon as they have their ducks in a row we expect to regain function.

5/22/2026 - We are still working with Microsoft to resolve this issue.  There is an apparent issue with the setup of our customer account in the Microsoft back-end that they are working to resolve.  Once this is resolved we should be able to move forward.  We expect to hear more "next week".  I'm terribly sorry this is taking so long but it is completely out of our hands at this point.
