How to setup OneDrive and start file sync

From time to time the Tech Department will need to work on your computers and there is always the chance of losing files on the computer.

With that in mind we want to encourage you all to have a good backup of everything on your computer.  The best way to backup your computer is OneDrive.  So we’ve built a quick instruction set for you.

Attached is a step-by-step guide to setting up OneDrive on your computer to backup the most common storage locations.  It looks long, but I promise it is just because we were trying to be thorough.  This will only take you a couple of minutes to get setup.  Once setup, OneDrive will take care of the rest.

The beauty of this is that if you setup OneDrive now, then when/if you have a major hardware failure and you find your computer has been erased all you will have to do is to run through these simple instructions again and all of your files will come back.  It really is that simple.

Please attempt to follow these instructions as soon as possible.  Doing so today, or at the end of any day, will be ideal as the backup can take place overnight.
