Wireless Networks

The Nashville School District offers multiple wireless networks for use by our staff, students and guests.  Below is a run down of what they are and what you need to know about them.

EmpAD & StudentAD:
For use only on district owned laptops.  Laptops connected to the district active directory should automatically connect to one of these two networks.  Devices on the EmpAD should only be used by employees.

EmpPersonal:
 For use by Employees ONLY on employee owned devices.  (Use of this network by minors violates CIPA compliance.)  Employees can access this network using their network/computer credentials.  (Username: firstname.lastname, Password: Same as Computer Password)

Guests:
Open wireless for students and/or district guests on their personal devices.
